Pilates is Great for Baby Boomers!

Pilates is a mind-body exercise program. Clients practice exercises, which are in a specific order, and they are encouraged to learn the order. Memory is one of the key concepts of Pilates, and learning what the order is and how to do the exercises is really good for our minds and our memory. It is an hour set aside for the client to work their body and mind with the guidance of an instructor, all aimed at the individual’s well-being, safety and success. At the end of the hour, your body will feel stretched, worked, and stronger. Your mind will be cleared of any baggage that came into the studio with you. You can’t help but forget the outside world when you have to focus on yourself!

READPilates Lessons

Privates classes are the best way to start. In a private session, you work one-on-one with an instructor. The workout is tailored specifically for you based on your current fitness state, age, fitness goals, and any existing injuries. These sessions may include working on the equipment and mat work, depending on your needs.

Small Group classes are designed for small group of friends. In addition to private sessions, you and up to two friends can form a group and create your own class, choosing the time that works for all of you. We would instruct using the same equipment and the mat workouts, tailoring the workout to the group.


Each session with Judi is a very positive learning experience.
Judi has helped me to understand that Pilates is so much more than “exercise”. Judi takes the time to explain what should be the focus of each movement,  so it can performed correctly.
