Judi Coleman Schnebly, owner and instructor
Judi has had a variety of careers over the years with teaching being the central cord through all of her jobs. Unlike many Pilates instructors, Judi was not a dancer or trained athlete. From early childhood, she suffered back pain. Foot supports, back braces and physical therapy did nothing to help her overcome her pain. As the years went on, other parts of her body started hurting, first one joint then another, most likely as a result of poor movement patterns caused by her back pain. Twenty years ago, she purchased a video of Pilates. One time through the video, and she was hooked. Finally something that relieved the pain in her back! She found a Pilates studio near by and has not stopped working out since.
After leaving the corporate world, Judi started teaching Pilates, going through the Peak Pilates training program. The teacher training program was the final key she needed to get herself out of pain. After years of all movement causing her pain, she is now able to sleep through the night without pain.
Judi’s teaching background and her first hand experience with back, foot, hip, knee and shoulder pain have helped Judi to become a strong Pilates teacher, helping many clients get out of pain and learn to move correctly.
